A guide to connecting receipt printers, barcode scanners, and cash drawers to your Pryseflow workspace.

How to Pair New Devices with Pryseflow Connect

Expanding Your Setup

Pryseflow Connect allows you to link multiple hardware devices to your digital dashboard, creating a seamless retail or warehouse experience.

Pairing a Receipt Printer

  1. Connect your printer to your computer via USB or pair it via Bluetooth.
  2. Open Pryseflow Connect on your computer.
  3. Go to the Printers tab.
  4. Click Scan for Devices.
  5. Select your printer from the list and click Pair.
  6. Print a Test Receipt to confirm the connection.

Connecting a Barcode Scanner

Most barcode scanners act as "Keyboard Wedge" devices. To use them with Pryseflow:

  • Plug the scanner into a USB port.
  • Open any text field in the Pryseflow dashboard.
  • Scan a barcode. If the numbers appear in the field, your scanner is ready to use.
  • No additional pairing in Pryseflow Connect is usually required for standard USB scanners.

Linking a Cash Drawer

Cash drawers typically connect to the DK (Drawer Kick) port on the back of your receipt printer.

  1. Plug the RJ11/RJ12 cable from the drawer into the printer.
  2. In your Pryseflow POS settings, ensure Open Drawer on Sale is enabled.
  3. The printer will now send a signal to the drawer whenever a cash transaction is finalized.

Note: Bluetooth devices must be paired with your operating system (Windows/Mac/Android) before they will appear in Pryseflow Connect.
